Kent man fatally shot Sunday morning; suspect arrested

One man was shot to death in Kent on Sunday morning and another was taken into custody, Kent police said.

Police also seized a weapon, said Cmdr. Jarod Kasner, a department spokesman.

The shooting occurred about 1:50 a.m. in the 500 block of 4th Avenue South.

“This was not a random act and is not related to our other investigations,” Kasner said in an email. “As we confirm more, we will release the information.”
