Victim in Lacey shooting has died, police say
Chris Knoblock, the 34-year-old man who was shot Sunday evening in Lacey, has died, the Lacey Police Department confirmed Tuesday.
Knoblock was shot near 13th Avenue Southeast and College Street Southeast in Lacey at about 7 p.m. Sunday night. He was transported by a friend to Providence St. Peter Hospital in critical condition.
He died Tuesday as a result of a gunshot wound, Lacey Police Cmdr. Chris Ward said. It was unclear late Tuesday whether Knoblock was shot multiple times.
Ward said the investigation in ongoing, but there is no lead on a suspect at this point.
