Detectives investigating homicide-suicide near Puyallup

A 31-year-old man fatally shot his 35-year-old girlfriend inside her home near Puyallup and then killed himself, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said Monday.

The girlfriend’s teenage daughter and sister found the bodies about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Medical examiners identified the woman as Lindsey Lucas and the man as Brandon Bos.

Investigators said Lucass lived at a duplex in the 11200 block of 71st Avenue Court East. Bos, with whom she had an on-again, off-again relationship, did not live there, officials said.

Neighbors did not hear the shots.

Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said the shooting likely happened late Saturday or early Sunday. A motive remains unknown.
