Fire burns vacant house in Spanaway
Firefighters responded to a blaze at a vacant home Tuesday in Spanaway.
They were dispatched about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday to the house in the 15000 block of Spanaway Loop Road.
It’s not clear what caused the fire. There was no evidence of arson, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue spokesman Ed Hrivnak said.
No one was injured.
The fire was under control in about two hours.
Hrivnak said there has been a history of squatters at the property, which is owned by a bank.
