Parkland man sought in sexual abuse of 12-year-old boy with girlfriend

A warrant has been issued for a Parkland man charged with repeatedly raping a 12-year-old boy at a mobile home park.

Shawn Morgan, 43, is charged with two counts of first-degree child rape and two counts of first-degree child molestation.

His ex-girlfriend, Kierra Hall, has been charged as well.

She has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree child rape and one count of first-degree child molestation. She is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.

While Hall was in a rehabilitation facility, she told a counselor she and Morgan sexually abused the boy and watched child pornography together from June 2014 to September 2015, according to charging papers.

The boy confirmed the abuse and told police he didn’t like Morgan or Hall because they “did drugs and a lot of other things,” records show.

The South Sound Child Exploitation Task Force served a search warrant at Morgan’s mobile home in the 14100 block of Second Avenue Court East but have been unable to find him.

He is described as white, 5 feet 9 and 190 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Morgan has three prior felony convictions for second-degree theft, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to sell and endangerment with a controlled substance.
