The Seahawks beat the Hornets in a Saturday, April 11, nonconference game.

Anacortes' Wes Green was 3-for-4 with a home run, triple, three runs scored and four RBI; Aiden Lefave 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks and two runs scored; Colin Bryant 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, three runs scored and was hit by a pitch; and Van Egdom 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.

On the mound, Anacortes' Greyson Coleman allowed two earned runs in four innings, and Green earned the save.

Anacortes (8-5) was to host Lynden Christian on Tuesday, April 14, and play at Nooksack Valley at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

The Seahawks fell to the Golden Eagles on Tuesday, April 7, in a Northwest Conference game.

Track and Field

Birger Solberg Invitational

The Anacortes boys' track and field team placed second Saturday, April 11, in the 31-team meet.

The Seahawks had three individual champions, and won one relay.

Austin Duchene was first in the 400-meter run (50.49 seconds), Dylan Rowell first in the 3,200 (8:54.88), and Brennan Morgenthaler first in the high jump (5 feet, 10 inches).

The Seahawks won the 400 relay (44.19), and Duchene was second in the 200 (22.75).

Anacortes scored 57 points to place behind only Shorewood, which scored 105 1/2.

In girls' events, Anacortes' Lucy Lemrick was first in the 2,000 steeplechase (7:57.02), and Teagan Littke was second in the triple jump (33-11 1/2).

The Seahawks are to compete at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Lynden.

Softball

The Seahawks (6-4) were idle last week.

They were to play on Tuesday, April 14, at Oak Harbor, and to host Lakewood at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

Boys' Soccer

The Seahawks (3-7) were idle last week.

They were to play Tuesday, April 14, at Ferndale, and to host Lynden at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

Girls' Tennis

The Seahawks (2-3) were idle last week.

They were to host Mount Vernon on Tuesday, April 14, and host Bellingham at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

Girls' Golf

The Seahawks were idle last week.

They are to play at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in a Northwest Conference match in Oak Harbor.

Boys' Golf

The Seahawks were idle last week.

They are to host a Northwest Conference match at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Swinomish Golf Links.
