Security: Aim anger at current administration

Re: “Rainiers’ ultra-security says the terrorists’ won” (TNT, 4-11).

It seems that state Rep. Christopher Hurst really did spend too much time in the sun last Thursday. How else did he come to the conclusion that a business (the Tacoma Rainiers) should be punished for attempting to protect their customers from possible assault from the madmen running loose in the world today?

Does he not read the papers? Does he not get out in the world, where more and more venue operators are doing the same thing?

If he wants to express his anger, perhaps he should aim it at the current administration (his own party), which has not taken this worldwide menace nearly as seriously as it should.

If we look “weak, fearful, insecure and beaten” it’s not because of the operators of Cheney Stadium. Those words more accurately describe our supposed leaders in D.C.

The idea of treating the Cheney operators as the enemy is appalling and shows just how clueless the state representative is.
