Michael Jordan's Son Announces Next Move in His New Career
As Michael Jordan continues his successful NASCAR journey, his son Marcus Jordan is making moves of his own. After overcoming controversy surrounding him, Marcus shared an exciting update on his Instagram.
Jordan's younger son has been in the news over the past few years, mainly due to his past relationship with Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen. Marcus also faced scrutiny following his DUI arrest last year. However, the 35-year-old has been consistently celebrating his sobriety since the incident.
Now, Marcus has announced his new YouTube channel, where he has posted his full DJ set from Fixtion Bar in Orlando, Florida. "We've got motionnnnn", he wrote on Instagram after sharing his 90 minute set. Marcus has been performing as a DJ for the past few months, but sharing his set on YouTube highlights how invested he is in his new career.
Apart from this, Marcus also owns Trophy Room, a high-end sneaker boutique he founded in 2016, which is also located in Orlando. Being the son of an NBA legend, Marcus did attempt to follow in his father's footsteps.
In 2009, he was named the 60th-best high school senior shooting guard in the country, according to ESPNU. Marcus played for UCF in college before leaving the basketball team to graduate from the Rosen College of Hospitality Management program in 2013.
While he did not replicate his father's on-court legacy, Marcus has been building a name for himself through his entrepreneurial ventures. He will now hope to find success with the launch of his YouTube channel as a DJ.
