Morton/White Pass officially clinched a postseason berth on Wednesday, topping Mossyrock 14-4 in Morton to seal a top-eight finish in the Central 2B League.
The MWP offense was clicking early and often, as the T-Wolves scored once in the first, twice in both the second and third, and once in the fourth before sealing the run-rule victory with a six-run fifth.
Bryer Kelly ended it with a run-rule walk-off RBI single.
Jethro Haselwood drove in three runs, while Peyton Shields, Carson Fleetwood, Jake Flathers, and Liam Pelletier each picked up two RBIs. Shields, Pelletier, Haselwood, and Decklen Kelly also picked up two hits apiece.
Shields pitched the first three and two-thirds, allowing two hits and two runs while walking seven and striking out eight, while Pelletier allowed a hit and two runs while walking one and striking out two in an inning and a third out of the pen.
Gunnar Callies and Kevin Mitchell picked up a hit and an RBI apiece to lead the Mossyrock offense, and Gunner Ball also collected a hit.
Mossyrock (1-14, 1-14 C2BL) will need a win and an Onalaska loss on Friday to force a tiebreaker game. The winner of that potential game would advance to the district pigtail. A loss or an Onalaska win would officially eliminate the Vikings from postseason contention.
MWP (4-15, 3-12 C2BL) is officially district-tournament bound, but will need a win or an Onalaska loss to seal a top-seven seed and avoid the pigtail.
The T-Wolves and Vikings will face off again on Friday in Mossyrock.
