Bills Coach Joe Brady Gets ‘A' Grade for NFL Draft Picks
The 2026 NFL draft is in the rearview mirror, and now that all 32 teams have made their three days of selections, the critics are weighing in on the final rosters.
This was a crucial draft for Joe Brady of the Buffalo Bills, as the first-year head coach looks to put his stamp on the franchise. Now, he’s getting props for his moves.
NFL draft analyst Rob Rang of Fox Sports released his list of the best and worst moves in the NFL draft.
“It will take at least three years before we can truly assess how the 32 NFL teams fared over the weekend,” he says in the feature. “But what is readily apparent is the different approaches that were taken, from going for the best available talent to focusing on team needs to gambling on character concerns and long-term potential.”
For the Bills, he gives Brady and the Bills an “A” grade and simply loves what they’re doing.
“Entering the draft with no pick between Nos. 26 and 91, the Bills traded down twice, dropping out of the first round entirely and picking up extra selections to reshape the roster in new head coach Joe Brady’s vision,” he states in the piece.

He adds: The Bills still added a quality edge rusher in T.J. Parker, who I thought was going to come off the board on Day 1. He is already a well-rounded and productive player and is still just scratching the surface of his potential.”

Do the Buffalo Bills Deserve an ‘A’ Grade After the NFL Draft?
So, do the Bills deserve that stellar grade? It makes sense, and what puts Buffalo over the edge is what they did later in the draft. Snagging players like cornerback Davison Igbinosun and offensive tackle Jude Bowry were slick moves, as well as day three linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr, who was really underrated in draft sock. Simply put, Brady made smart and creative choices.
