WWE Host Cathy Kelley Grabs Attention With Gym Photo
WWE host Cathy Kelley continues to prove she's a fan favorite in the wrestling universe.
The WWE signed Kelley to a deal in 2016. She previously worked for AfterBuzz before getting her chance on "Raw" and "NXT." Over the past decade, the Illinois native has blossomed into an exceptional interviewer.
"Cathy Kelley joined WWE in 2016, but this Mensa International–certified journalist, podcaster and red carpet interviewer has been a passionate member of the WWE Universe for years," her bio for the WWE states. "Since then, Cathy has jumped feet-first into the whirlwind world of WWE breaking news, swirling rumors and true-or-false gossip, putting her Loyola University Chicago journalism degree to good use. She was also a staple of WWE Hall of Fame's red carpet coverage in 2016 and 2017, interviewing Superstars and Legends alike."
Earlier this week, Kelly caused quite the stir by posting a gym selfie on social media.
"Wow she looks amazing," one fan declared.
"Well someone needs to fill the void as the Alpha in WWE since Brock retired," a second fan said. "Might as well be Cathy!"
"Almost fell to my knees," another fan commented.
"Breaking the internet again Cathy," a social media user wrote.
New role coming for Cathy Kelley?
Fightful Select reported that Kelley has been training at the WWE Performance Center. That has fans wondering if she'll compete in the ring. However, that doesn't appear to be the case.
"We were asked about Cathy Kelley training at the Performance Center. We're told that she did train at the WWE Performance Center, but it was geared toward an expanded on-screen role rather than an in-ring run," the report from Fightful Select stated.
Regardless of what's next for Kelley, she'll receive plenty of support from her fans.
