NFL Reporter James Palmer Takes Aim At Trump Administration
NFL reporter James Palmer proved this week that he's not afraid to get political.
In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the official X account for the White House posted an A.I.-generated image of Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer holding margaritas while wearing sombreros. This post received over 6.4 million views and 43,000 likes in under 24 hours.
Palmer, who worked at NFL Network from 2015-2024, made it known that he disapproved of this post from the White House.
"This administration continues to embarrass themselves on a daily basis," Palmer replied.
Unsurprisingly, this post from Palmer stirred up quite the debate. Some NFL fans ripped his stance on the Trump administration. Of course, there were some people who applauded him.
"Poor little James can't handle a meme. The 2 top Democrats who think men can become women," one person wrote. "You support them."
"Why are you chiming in supporting Dems, James Palmer? 4 years of wide open borders and 20 million illegals later and the Jets still don't have a QB," a fan sarcastically replied.
"Whew glad I was already following your account," another fan said.
Who is James Palmer?
Most football fans know Palmer for his work on NFL Network. He made countless appearances on "Good Morning Football" and "NFL Total Access."
Palmer, an Ohio State graduate, previously covered the Houston Texans for Comcast Sportsnet Houston.
"The Philadelphia native received an Emmy Award for his coverage, as well as multiple nominations during his three years in Houston," his bio for NFL.com states. "Prior to Houston, Palmer covered the SEC in Atlanta for Comcast Sports Southeast, filing reporters from across the region as well as hosting nightly studio shows. During his time in Atlanta, Palmer covered everything from the Masters, the NCAA Tournament, the UFC, and Olympians."
