Fede Valverde Makes Personal Announcement After Alleged Fight With Aurélien Tchouaméni- 'I'm Sorry'

Many reports from Spain have suggested that Real Madrid midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni were involved in a fight for two training sessions in a row.

The first one was reported after yesterday's training session, where Tchouaméni reportedly tackled Valverde, causing the Uruguayan midfielder to get angry. Following the training session, the two had a verbal fight.

Today, Tchouaméni reportedly tried to apologize to Valverde, but the Uruguayan midfielder refused. The training session remained intense between the two, leading to a physical fight between the two.

Real Madrid addressed the alleged fight with an official statement, suggesting that consequences may follow for both players.

Real Madrid wrote, "Real Madrid CF announces that, following the events that took place this morning in the first team training session, it has decided to open disciplinary proceedings against our players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouameni. The club will announce the resolutions of both cases in due course, once the corresponding internal procedures have been completed."

Following the alleged fight, Valverde suffered a head injury, which will rule him out for between 10 and 14 days, according to the club statement from Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has confirmed that Valverde will miss El Clásico this weekend due to this head injury and that the club will analyze the situation between the two players.

Real Madrid wrote, "Following tests carried out today on our player Fede Valverde by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury. Valverde is at home in good condition and will have to remain at rest for 10 to 14 days, as indicated by the medical protocols for this diagnosis."

Following the confirmation of Valverde's injury, the player published an official statement suggesting there was no fight.

Federico Valverde's Official Statement

On his Instagram story, Federico Valverde published an official statement apologizing to the fans and the institution, while suggesting that there was no physical fight.

Valverde does not mention Tchouameni's name in the statement but confirms that there was an altercation with a teammate.

Valverde wrote, "Yesterday I had an incident with a teammate during a training session. The fatigue from competition and the frustration made everything seem blown out of proportion...Today we had another disagreement. During the argument, I accidentally hit a table, causing a small cut on my forehead that required a routine visit to the hospital. At no point did my teammate hit me, and I didn't hit him either, although I understand it's easier for you to believe we came to blows or that it was intentional, but that didn't happen..."

The Real Madrid midfielder continued and apologized to the club by writing, "I'm sorry. I'm truly sorry because this situation hurts me; this moment we're going through is painful. Real Madrid is one of the most important things in my life, and I can't be indifferent to it."
