The junior infielder opened the playoffs with a strong day at the plate.

Roberts went 3-for-3 with a home run, double, walk, two runs scored and three RBI on Saturday in a 15-3 win over Marysville-Getchell.

He had a double in the first inning, a home run in the third inning and a single in the fourth inning.

The game was much like Roberts' season as a whole.

He is hitting .562 with nine doubles, a triple, three home runs, 33 runs scored and 16 RBI.

On top of that, Roberts has walked 20 times and struck out only four times.
