Walla Walla baseball's district run ends with loss to Mt. Spokane

MEAD - Walla Walla's baseball season came to a close on Thursday at Mt. Spokane High School.

The Blue Devils fell 12-0 to host Mt. Spokane in a loser-out Class 3A District 6 contest. Further information about the game was not available at press time.

Ninth-seeded Wa-Hi (8-16) had previously pulled off a pair of upsets to extend its season, beating No. 8 Shadle Park 9-2 on May 7 and No. 5 Ridgeline 9-5 on Tuesday in between a 9-2 loss to No. 1 University.

Mt. Spokane will play No. 7 Central Valley, which eliminated University on Thursday, for a state berth on Saturday.
