Analysis:

The Buffalo Bills have never been more all-in then they are right now.

The team fired one of the more successful coaches of the last decade in Sean McDermott in a desperation move to shake things up to finally get over the AFC Championship Game hump.

The good news is the team promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady - someone quarterback Josh Allen already has a great rapport with - to replace McDermott, and they traded for 1,000-yard receiver DJ Moore and drafted speedster Skyler Bell to give Allen more weapons to throw to.

The additions of Bradley Chubb, rookie T.J. Parker, and Mike Danna should bolster a pass-rush unit that ranked near the bottom of the league in sacks last year (36). Adding cornerback Dee Alford and Davison Igbinosun, plus safety Geno Stone also shores up a secondary that was hit hard by injuries last year.

Is promoting Brady to head coach enough to make Buffalo a Super Bowl contender? That remains to be seen. But the Bills should be knocking on the door of at least another AFC Championship Game appearance this year in 2026.
