Final Injury Report for Valkyries-Lynx: Will Napheesa Collier, Veronica Burton Play?

The Minnesota Lynx are at home Thursday night as they host the Golden State Valkyries in a Western Conference showdown as part of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.

Minnesota enters Thursday's game with a 7-2 record after defeating the Phoenix Mercury on the road in dominant fashion Monday night.

In Monday's victory over the Mercury, Courtney Williams led the way for the Lynx as she recorded 30 points and five rebounds while Olivia Miles added 19 points, four rebounds, nine assists and three steals of her own.

The Lynx will try to grab another victory Thursday and extend their winning streak to six games as they face off against the Valkyries in a tough home matchup.

Golden State enters Thursday's contest with a 6-3 record after defeating the Portland Fire at home Tuesday night.

Kayla Thornton led the way for the Valkyries in Tuesday's victory as she ended the game with 19 points and eight rebounds while Janelle Salaun recorded 18 points and four rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night's matchup, each may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

Valkyries Injury Report: Will Veronica Burton Play?

The Valkyries have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Iliana Rupert.

Golden State has ruled out Rupert as she will miss the remainder of the season due to her pregnancy.

The good news for the Valkyries is that Veronica Burton is off the injury report entirely for Thursday's matchup after she was able to play through a right quad contusion in Tuesday's victory.

Lynx Injury Report: Will Napheesa Collier Play?

The Lynx have three players listed on their injury report, including star forward Napheesa Collier.

Minnesota has ruled out Collier as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from left ankle surgery. Although she was expected to begin on-court activities in early June, it was announced Wednesday that she has yet to be cleared to do so.

The Lynx have also ruled out Dorka Juhasz as she remains sidelined while recovering from a right mid-foot sprain while Emma Cechova will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn right ACL.
