NFL Fans In Disbelief Over Brutal Shedeur Sanders Practice Video

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders may want to stay off social media for the next few days.

Sanders entered this offseason knowing he'd need to win a camp battle for the Week 1 job. The former fifth-round pick completed 56.6% of his passes during his rookie season for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Even though Deshaun Watson had the early edge in this position battle, Sanders closed that gap over the past few weeks.

"I think Shedeur has come on so strong in the last few weeks that it's making them think maybe we should see what he can do in training camp before we decide that perhaps Deshaun Watson is QB1," Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com said.

While it's possible that Sanders has a real shot at being the Week 1 starter, he did himself no favors at mandatory minicamp. There's a clip of him getting a pass batted down despite the fact that he wasn't facing any pass rush.

"Arguably one of the funniest camp clips I've ever seen," one person declared.

"It's like when you hit the only tree in the fairway," a second person wrote.

"I've never seen a franchise QB do this," a third fan said.

"I'd pay anything to see the helmet cam footage of this throw man," another person commented.

Shedeur has the right mentality.

Sanders told reporters this week that he's not fazed by all the chatter regarding his position battle with Watson.

"I'm focused on developing as a player, doing everything, getting as comfortable as I can in the offense and the scheme and playing with confidence," Sanders said. "That's all I'm really looking for and trying to improve every day."

The Browns aren't expected to name their No. 1 quarterback before training camp in July.
