Actor Hank Azaria Was 'Bothered' By Taylor Swift Showing Up To Knicks vs. Spurs

It appears Taylor Swift annoyed a portion of the sports world just by attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Swift, a 14-time Grammy Award winner, sat courtside at Madison Square Garden for Wednesday night's game between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs. She had a blast watching the hometown team erase a 29-point deficit to secure a 3-1 series lead.

Hank Azaria, who is best known for voicing characters in "The Simpsons," has attended countless Knicks games over the years. During an interview with Dan Le Batard on Thursday, the New York native revealed that he was bothered by Swift's presence at MSG.

We're not kidding.

"I'll tell you the one [person] that bothered me was Taylor Swift. Come on," Azaria said, via the New York Post. "I know she's the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL and now she's at the Garden. Come on."

There has been controversy surrounding Swift's fandom.

Monica McNutt of 880 ESPN New York was caught knocking Swift on the hot mic prior to Game 4 on Wednesday.

"Is that Taylor Swift down there? That's her," McNutt said. "She's not a Knicks fan, get out of here, girl."

McNutt apologized after an old photo of Swift wearing a Knicks jersey was brought to her attention.

"Swifties, I appreciate your passion. I said what I said. I am wrong, apparently, because she's got an Amar'e Stoudemire jersey," McNutt said. "I misspoke. Context – I just did a piece on celebrity row. I know these folks – Ben Stiller and his wife Christine, Spike Lee, Fat Joe. I had not seen her here this year or last year. We just saw her in Cleveland with her fiancé. Obviously, Travis supports the Cavs. We didn't see her in Knicks paraphernalia."

It's unclear if Swift will attend Game 5 in San Antonio. If she does, that'll erase any doubts about her love for the Knicks.
