WNBA Fans Want Isabelle Harrison Suspended For Tackling Angel Reese

A wrestling match nearly broke out during Sunday's showdown between the Atlanta Dream and Toronto Tempo.

With just over six minutes remaining in the third quarter, Angel Reese tried to drive on Isabelle Harrison as the shot clock was winding down. Harrison, who was teammates with Reese in Chicago, wasn't interested in giving the former LSU star an inch of breathing room.

Not only did Harrison wrap her arms around Reese, she pulled her to the ground. It was a wild scene that nearly erupted into a fight.

When the dust settled, Harrison was issued a flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the game.

Did Isabelle Harrison cross the line?

Judging by some reactions on social media, there are WNBA fans who believe Harrison wanted to injure Reese during Sunday's game. That being said, they're calling for the league to issue a suspension.

"Angel should've stomped her out. Izzy was weird all game."

"This is so dirty," a second fan said.

"Straight tackled Angel to the ground and laughed about it afterwards," another fan commented. "Refs shouldn't allow this to happen."

"Isabelle Harrison needs to be suspended for this. This is dangerous, wrapping around someone's neck??? Be so serious," another fan said.

The WNBA has not yet said if it'll discipline Harrison for this flagrant 2 foul on Reese.

For what it's worth, Atlanta and Toronto will meet again on June 22.

If the officials want to avoid seeing another hard foul on Reese, it's imperative they set the tone from the opening tip.
