Rising Star Wrestler Jordan Nasir Has Sadly Died At 23
The wrestling community sadly lost Jordan Nasir this month at the young age of 23.
Nasir performed on the independent wrestling circuit under the name of "Black Flash" Jordan Saint. He announced his return to wrestling in January and later competed at Shooting Star Fest in Las Vegas in April.
Unfortunately, Nasir was involved in a fatal car accident this past Friday. He was driving his Nissan Altima when he was struck by a Hyundai on the Bethpage State Parkway.
"State police say the call came in at 9:30 a.m. for a two-vehicle fatal crash on the parkway. One vehicle had crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on, according to police. Police have confirmed that one person has died as a result," News12 reported. "The parkway was closed from Exit B1 to the Southern State Parkway and Exit B2 to Boundary Avenue. The highway reopened at 2:10 p.m."
After this heartbreaking news was confirmed, wrestling fans left kind messages on Nasir's Instagram page.
"One of the most genuine people I've ever met," one fan said. "Rest in peace."
"Rest easy brother," a second fan commented. "Your kindness was unmatched."
"Mad respect for someone w a passion," another person wrote. "Rest easy."
Our thoughts are with Nasir's friends and family members during this difficult time.
