Final Injury Report for Liberty-Sky: Will Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, DiJonai Carrington Play?

The New York Liberty are on the road Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Chicago Sky in an Eastern Conference matchup as part of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.

New York enters Wednesday's game with a 10-4 record after defeating the Washington Mystics at home Sunday afternoon in dominant fashion as they clinched a spot in the Commissioner's Cup championship game.

In Sunday's victory over the Mystics, Jonquel Jones led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 20 points, four rebounds and three steals while Breanna Stewart added 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks of her own.

The Liberty will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to eight games Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Sky team on the road.

Chicago enters Wednesday's contest with a 4-9 record after losing on the road in overtime to the Indiana Fever Thursday night, which extended their losing streak to three games.

Sydney Taylor led the way for the Sky in Thursday's loss as she ended the game with 30 points, two rebounds and two assists off the bench while Skylar Diggins recorded 21 points and three rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night's matchup, each may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

The Liberty have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Betnijah Laney-Hamilton as questionable.

New York has listed Laney-Hamilton as questionable due to left knee injury management and she is in danger of missing her first game since May 25.

Sky Injury Report: Will DiJonai Carrington, Courtney Vandersloot Play?

The Sky have three players listed on their injury report, including DiJonai Carrington and Courtney Vandersloot.

Chicago has ruled out Carrington as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from left foot surgery.

The Sky have also ruled out Vandersloot as she continues to recover from right knee surgery she underwent last June to repair a torn ACL.

Rickea Jackson has also been ruled out as she will miss the remainder of the season with a torn left ACL.
