Home builder announces next phase of home sites available for sale north of Gig Harbor
A regional developer has announced the next phase of home sales in a massive new community being developed north of Gig Harbor off state Route 16.
McCormick Trails is part of the McCormick Master-Planned Community in the Port Orchard area. Pacific Lifestyle Homes, a McCormick Trails builder, this month announced it was constructing 22 homes in the project’s next phase, with the home sites now for sale.
The homes will range from 1,814 to 3,650 square feet. The neighborhood includes more than eight miles of nature trails and is close to McCormick Woods Golf Club and South Kitsap Regional Park.
A new retail village (McCormick Village Retail) has an initial opening listed online as spring 2025.
Prices for the homes start at $760,000.
Pacific Lifestyle Homes is one of multiple builders at McCormick Trails. The neighborhood is planned for more than 1,500 homes when completed in the next 10-15 years, with the goal of 100 homes completed per year, according to officials speaking last year with The Kitsap Sun.
The McCormick Trails project is to the south of Southwest Old Clifton Road and is in the South Kitsap School District.
“The first phase was extremely popular, and, with the new amenities near completion, we expect this phase to be even more popular,” said Matt Lewis, Puget Sound President of Pacific Lifestyle Homes.
According to the builder’s release, “All homes in the neighborhood include a complimentary finish package including features such as ‘Smart Home’ technology, quartz countertops, first floor 9-foot ceilings, gourmet kitchen with a double oven and a 36-inch cooktop, tile bathroom floors in the master suite, a USB wall charger and standard front and rear landscaping.”
Buyers can work with the builder to select specific home interior finishes at Pacific Lifestyle Homes’ Design Studio adjacent to its Tacoma office at 4802 Tacoma Mall Blvd.
Floor plans include models with three-car garages.
The model home on display is at 6278 Marymere Road SW, Port Orchard.
Pacific Lifestyle Homes launched in 1996 and has built thousands of homes throughout the greater Portland/Vancouver area. In 2013, the Vancouver, Washington-based company entered the Puget Sound market and has built over 200 homes across King, Pierce, Thurston and Kitsap counties.
The company includes both the Pacific Lifestyle Home and Garrette Custom Homes brand. Pacific Lifestyle’s other projects in the area include Summer Lane in University Place, Aster Point in Edgewood, Acorn Park near Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Austin Court, south of Fort Steilacoom Park.
