River Road accident victim has been identified
A man killed Thursday night in a vehicle accident on River Road has been identified.
Anthony Olson, 58, of Puyallup died following the wreck, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash occurred about 9:15 p.m. on River Road East near 78th Avenue East in Puyallup, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers said Olson, who was driving a Hyundai, turned out of a lounge parking lot onto River Road and was struck by a northbound Dodge Ram.
The driver of the Dodge, a 25-year-old Oregon man, was taken to area hospital with injuries.
