Officials identify motorcyclist killed after crashing into bridge near Orting

Officials have identified a motorcyclist who died Sunday after crashing into a bridge abutment near Orting.

Troopers are investigating what caused Paul Entler, 55, to lose control of his 2019 Harley Davidson on state Route 162.

Entler, of Puyallup, was traveling west when his bike veered off the roadway near 177th Street East and struck the abutment east of Orting.

He appeared to be speeding, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred about 7 a.m.

Entler and his Harley came to rest about 100 feet from the road.
