Winners of The News Tribune’s Athlete of the Week for the month of April

This list of The News Tribune's Athlete of the Week winners in April illustrates student-athletes who excelled in both baseball and softball, including by pitching shutouts, driving in multiple runs and breaking records.

Athletes like Jacob Barr of Clover Park had dominant games both at the plate and pitching, while Laken Elvig of White River hit home runs and struck out many batters in one week. Standout efforts included Norah Fenton's grand slam and Vivien Sweet's complete game and home run. Repeat appearances by names such as Mason Pike and Sierra Murray highlight continued high-level achievement.
