Tacoma motorcyclist flown to hospital after crash in Lewis County has died

A 57-year-old Tacoma man who was flown to a hospital Saturday afternoon after a wreck in Lewis County has died, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The man was driving his motorcycle on southbound state Route 7 about 1 p.m., just north of Morton. State Patrol said he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the motorcycle and crashed off the roadway.

The man was identified as Thomas F. King, a WSP news release from Monday said.

He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for his injuries, the release said.
