Meet the cutest dog finalists in The News Tribune’s contest & vote for your favorite

The News Tribune is a step closer to crowning the cutest dog in the Tacoma area.

Readers living in and near Pierce County submitted their prettiest pups to our cutest dog contest. We received more than three dozen submissions featuring a wide range of breeds, ages and names, and now the top 10 finishers are moving on to Round 2.

So, rally your friends, family members and fellow dog lovers to vote for your favorites and zero in on a winner.

How do I vote for the cutest dog in the Tacoma area?

Voting in Round 2 of The News Tribune’s cutest dog contest is open now. All you have to do is click on the poll below to start throwing some love at your choice canines.

You may vote as many times as you’d like until voting closes.

How long will voting last in the Pierce County area pet contest?

Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27.

The winner will be announced on Monday, Nov. 3, on TheNewsTribune.com. We plan to make that top dog the star of their very own feature story loaded up with more adorable photos.

Cutest cat and dog contests are taking place at more than 20 McClatchy newspapers across the country. The winners from each market will automatically be entered into a second contest to determine the Cutest Cat and Cutest Dog in the country, launching Monday, Nov. 10.
