Gambler turns $7.50 bet into ‘life-changing win’ at Tacoma-area casino
A gambler bet $7.50 at a slot machine near Tacoma and came away with “a life-changing win,” casino officials said.
The lucky gambler won $142,866 on a slot machine at Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, casino officials said in a Facebook post on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
“Talk about turning reels into riches,” casino officials said, calling the jackpot “massive.”
The win happened on a Wild Wild Buffalo slot machine, a casino official confirmed in an email to The News Tribune.
Facebook commenters were quick to weigh in on the jackpot.
“One happy player there, I’m sure,” one person wrote.
Another shared their “congratulations” for the winning slot machine player, adding that it’ll “be a great holiday for the family.”
It’s not the only recent big win at the casino.
In a Friday, Dec. 12, Facebook post, casino officials highlighted a $61,112 win on a Monkey in the Bank slot machine.
Auburn is about a 20-minute drive northeast from Tacoma.
