Pedestrian killed in Tacoma identified

A woman who was killed Wednesday while crossing Pacific Avenue in Tacoma was identified as Wendy Michael.

Police said Michael, 39, of Olympia, was not in a crosswalk when she was hit about 7:30 p.m. near South 80th Street and Pacific.

The driver was not cited or arrested.
