INITIAL POST: A mentally disabled Gig Harbor-area teenager is missing, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said Saturday.

Tony James Lique, 19, was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday, his mother Ronda Lique said on her Facebook page. He may have been spotted on Saturday in Gig Harbor in the area of the Harbor Greens grocery store on Olympic Drive Northwest.

Lique has the mental capacity of someone much younger, his mother and sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.

He’s described as 5 feet 8 and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans, a sweat shirt and a backpack.

Anyone who sees Lique is asked to call police.

Lique has gone missing in the past. In February, he disappeared for roughly a day before being found in Seattle.
