He robbed an East Pierce store at gunpoint. Sheriff’s deputies are searching for him

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department has yet to identify a man who robbed a store at gunpoint in Buckley last month.

Around 6 a.m. Jan. 28 a man in his 20s robbed the Burnett Store at 14204 state Route 165 and fled with cash and tobacco products, according to the Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers website.

The Sheriff’s Department posted Friday, Feb. 23, on social media that the robbery is on the Crime Stoppers “most wanted” list.

The robber was about 5-foot-8 and wore a black hooded jacket, blue mask, tan pants and black shoes, according to the Crime Stoppers website.

Surveillance video showed a gray, four-door, 2000s sedan at the time of the robbery that may be associated with the suspect, according to the Crime Stoppers website.
