These new homes in Tehaleh start at $1.1 million and offer ‘smart home’ technology

A Tehaleh builder is breaking ground on new homes in the Glacier Pointe neighborhood, the company said in a news release Thursday.

Garrette Custom Homes is building 19 homes on property at 15317 210th Ave. E. It’s part of the second phase of the Glacier Pointe neighborhood.

The homes start at $1.1 million and are 2,144 to 4,460 square feet.

“We are absolutely thrilled to offer this second phase at Glacier Pointe at Tehaleh,” Matt Lewis, president of the Garrette Custom Homes Puget Sound Division, said in the news release. “Brookfield Properties did a fantastic job of planning the neighborhood. The views, trails and parks offer so much within the community. The first phase was extremely popular, and we expect equal or greater demand for this second phase.”

Buyers get to choose their front door, carpet, fireplace, backsplash and other features.

“The home designs include single level living, primary on the main level and multi-generational floor plans,” the news release said. “Features include RV garages, separate living quarters, covered outdoor living spaces and interior features include lofts, bonus rooms, and a den that can be transformed into a productive home office, media room, hobby space, home gym, or a second family room.”

The houses offer stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and 9-foot ceilings, among other features.

They’re smart homes with “programmable lights, climate, and locks to the two Amazon Echo devices included in each home,” the release said. “Buyers can monitor their home remotely and program music, temperature and security settings.”

Garrette announced in January 2024 that it would build in Tehaleh, then said in September that it would start with 27 homes in Glacier Pointe.
