Man fatally shot in Tacoma alley has been identified
A man shot to death during an argument in a Tacoma alley has been identified as Ozelle Tyrece Tate.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said Tate, 37, died of a gunshot wound to the thigh.
No one has been arrested.
A passerby approached a police officer about 3:30 p.m Wednesday and told him about a fight in the Court G alley between South 15th and 16th streets.
When the officer drove to the scene, he found Tate with a gunshot wound and applied a tourniquet.
Tate was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
Detectives are investigating the homicide.
