Man found shot to death in stairwell has been identified
A man found dead in a Parkland apartment complex Oct. 6 has been identified.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said Jermetrice T. Jones, 22, died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said Jones was found inside a stairwell at the Autumnwood North Apartments on 8th Avenue East. Jones did not have a fixed address, according the medical examiner.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the shooting.
