Nicole White murder

28-year-old Orting mother of two Nicole White was killed by Jonathan Harris, a man she met on a dating website, in 2015. Her case has been featured on the Investigation Discovery program Web of Lies.

Searchers were trying Tuesday to find a 28-year-old Enumclaw woman who disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

Nicole White’s family reported her missing Saturday. Friends told KIRO-TV White left a bar with a man she didn’t know last weekend and hasn’t been seen since.

It’s not normal for the mother of two to be out of contact with her family.

A passerby on Monday spotted the woman’s Dodge Neon partially over an embankment in the 26000 block of 70th Avenue East near Graham.

Search dogs went to a nearby pond, but Pierce County sheriff’s divers on Tuesday found no sign of White.

“There are some suspicious circumstances to her disappearance,” sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said. “We’re hoping for the best but expecting the worst.”

UPDATE: Jonathan Daniel Harris was arrested in Nicole White’s death in 2015, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to more than 26 years in prison.
