Man fatally shot on Puyallup tribal trust land identified by the medical examiner

A man who was shot on Puyallup tribal trust land and later died a the hospital has been identified by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The office has ruled the death of 31-year-old Alexander Villagomez-Dillon a homicide. Villagomez-Dillon died of multiple gunshot wounds on April 18.

Reports of a shooting were reported to South Sound 911 at 11:12 p.m. that day. Puyallup Tribal Police initially responded to the scene near the 2100 block of East George Street but requested assistance from the Tacoma Police Department, which is now investigating the case.

No arrests have been reported.
