Man shot dead in Tacoma on Tuesday was from Spanaway, medical examiner reports
A 27-year-old man killed in an overnight homicide on Tuesday has been identified, according to a Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office news release.
Lane Gouker of Spanaway died from multiple gunshot wounds near the 9300 block of South Ash Street in Tacoma. His manner of death was listed as a homicide, the news release said.
A disturbance and possible shooting were reported to police at the South Ash Street location Tuesday night. At the same time, Gouker was being driven to the hospital in a private vehicle, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
Hospital staff pronounced Gouker deceased and reported the death to South Sound 911. No arrests have been made, police said.
