Tacoma man killed in Federal Way officially identified by King County medical examiner

A Tacoma man who was found fatally shot outside a Federal Way apartment complex on Monday has been identified, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Pedro A. Balderas, 25, died in the Pavilion Apartments parking lot at 1900 Southwest Campus Drive. He died from multiple gunshot wounds. Balderas’ manner of death is listed as a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said in a news release.

Federal Way police officers were dispatched to a call about a shooting at about 8:41 p.m. They found Balderas with gunshot wounds and initiated live-saving measures until they were relieved by medical personnel. Balderas succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased, a previous News Tribune story reported.

There have been no arrests made, the story reported.
