Parkland man suspect in sex abuse of boy, 12
A Parkland man sought in the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old boy was arrested Monday by Pierce County sheriff’s deputies.
Shawn Morgan, 43, is charged with two counts each of first-degree child rape and first-degree child molestation. A bench warrant was issued for Morgan on April 18.
His ex-girlfriend, Kierra Hall, was charged as well. She is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail after pleading not guilty to three counts of first-degree child rape and one count of first-degree child molestation.
Hall told a rehabilitation facility counselor that she and Morgan sexually abused the boy and watched pornography with him from June 2014 to September 2015, according to charging papers.
The boy confirmed the abuse, the documents said.
