Man accused of sexually abusing 13-year-old he met online pleads guilty
A 19-year-old man accused of having sex with a 13-year-old Tacoma girl pleaded guilty Friday to the charge of indecent liberties with forcible compulsion.
Cody Maxx Johnson was arrested after the girl’s family found sexual texts on her phone in 2015. Police interviewed the girl, who told them she met Johnson online.
He picked her up from school in January 2015, they talked for a bit and then he choked her and made her perform oral sex on him, according to charging papers.
Johnson was 17 at the time.
He’s to be sentenced later this year.
