Fatal collision closes Norpoint Way NE in Tacoma Friday night. Police investigating
A fatal collision on Norpoint Way Northeast in Tacoma has closed a stretch of road for the next few hours, according to Tacoma Police.
The closure extends from Marine View Drive to 29th Street Northeast, and officers are investigating, the agency posted on X at 6:16 p.m. tonight. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes and should expect the closure to last for a few hours.
Tacoma Police Department spokesperson Shelbie Boyd confirmed via phone at about 6:30 p.m. that a person has died but did not have further information about the victim’s age or gender.
