Winner of The News Tribune’s Boys Athlete of the Week (March 18 to 23)

This week’s winner is:

Logan Judish, Stadium baseball — He plated the go-ahead runs on a third-inning single in Stadium’s 11-1 win over Lakes on Wednesday.

Diego Barton, Bonney Lake soccer — Scored a 41st minute goal in 2-1 win over Lincoln on Thursday.

Neal Burtis, Tahoma baseball — Struck out eight batters in five innings in 6-2 win over Auburn on Friday, surrendering two hits, a walk and one earned run in the win.

Ryan Cannady, Bonney Lake baseball — In three games, freshman went 6-for-10 with a walk, three runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base.

Garrett Chavis, Enumclaw baseball — Threw a no-hitter in five innings in 16-0 win over CLover Park, striking out 12 and walking two batters. At the plate, went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the third inning.

Adam Jay, Tahoma baseball — Took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of 6-1 win over Auburn Mountainview, striking out seven, walking none and allowing two hits and a run in 5 2/3 innings of work. Also went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the sixth inning.

Logan Judish, Stadium baseball — Plated the go-ahead runs on a third-inning single in Stadium’s 11-1 win over Lakes on Wednesday.

Parker Mady, Curtis baseball — Went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in 6-3 win over South Kitsap.

Ethan Melius, Auburn Riverside baseball — Finished 2-for-4 with two RBI including a run-scoring fielder’s choice in the fourth inning and an RBI infield single in the sixth in 8-1 win over Fife.

Josh Moore, Curtis baseball — Tossed a seven-inning complete game in 6-3 win over South Kitsap, walking two, striking out five and surrendering three unearned runs in the win.

Gavin Murphy, Bonney Lake soccer — Scored a 65th minute goal in 2-1 win over Lincoln on Thursday.

Mason Pike, Puyallup baseball — Impressed across 6 2/3 shutout innings in 8-0 win over Olympia, striking out a dozen batters and walking four, allowing just one hit. Also went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI single in the seventh inning.

Lucas Redman, Capital baseball — Shortstop went 3-for-3 with a double, walk and a run scored in 10-3 win over North Thurston on Wednesday.

Zack Robertson, Puyallup soccer — Junior scored two goals in 6-0 win over Rogers on Thursday.

Liam Stoner, Puyallup soccer — Senior scored two goals in 6-0 win over Rogers on Thursday.

Jesse Winkler, Stadium baseball — Went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in loss to Lake Washington on Friday.
