Firefighter dangled head-first in storm drain to rescue ducklings
A bunch of ducklings lost their way Tuesday and fell into a storm drain in Lakewood.
As mama duck waited anxiously nearby, West Pierce firefighters reached into the drain at 112th Street SW and Bridgeport Way SW and rescued the ducklings.
One firefighter had to be dangled by his feet so he could reach the little guys.
The ducklings then waddled to Hidden Lake behind their mother with a firefighter escort.
