Orting firefighter injured battling RV fire

A firefighter was injured Wednesday while battling a blaze that destroyed an RV, according to Orting Valley Fire and Rescue.

Crews were called about 8:30 a.m. to Needham Road and found the RV fully engulfed by flames.

Firefighters were able to quickly douse the fire and keep it from spreading to nearby RVs.

A cause has not been determined.

One firefighter sustained minor injuries and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital to get checked out.
