Man fatally shot Friday in Tacoma identified
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a man fatally shot Friday night in Tacoma’s South End.
Ryan Wilkinson, 30, of Tacoma died about 9 a.m. Saturday after being shot at a house near South 48th Street and Yakima Avenue along with two other men in their 20s who knew one another.
The three went to the hospital within five minutes of one another about midnight Friday, each with gunshot wounds.
The two other men were released from the hospital later Saturday.
Police said the witnesses were uncooperative, and that there have been no arrests and no motive has been established.
“This was a very targeted situation,” officer Shelbie Boyd said. “There’s no threat to the public.”
