WSDOT apprehends pig on the loose near I-5
A morning traffic slow-down on I-5 was due to an unusual source. A large pig, estimated at 300 pounds, was on the loose near 200th Street in Kent.
After an ardent pursuit, a handful of Washington state Department of Transportation workers apprehended the oinker at around noon on Monday.

The pig’s origin remains unclear, though it is legal to own a potbelly pig in many cities across Washington.
