Police found Meier’s body in Bradley Lake at Bradley Lake Park on Feb. 3. Kevin Gill, spokesperson for the Puyallup Police Department, previously told The News Tribune that a resident saw something in the water and called the police.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office first reported Meier missing in January. She was last seen alive at her home on Jan. 11.

Carly Cappetto, spokesperson for PCSO, told The News Tribune in January that Meier’s family shared information with officers indicating she was in danger. Meier’s car was later found at Bradley Lake Park, the same area where police found her body three weeks later.
