A woman was shot dead inside an apartment, and the shooter remains on the loose, according to police in Texas investigating the killing.
Detectives were called to an apartment complex in Houston around 8 a.m. Oct. 2, according to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Police say a woman at the apartment was fatally shot.
Two small children inside the apartment went and told neighbors about the shooting, according to KPRC.
Witnesses told police the suspect and victim knew each other, according to the post.
The woman’s name has not been released, and police are still searching for the suspect, who witnesses said took off, KHOU reported.
