That parking lot next to Old City Hall? We know what it will be for a while
That parking lot a developer bought for $1.8 million earlier this month across from Old City Hall in downtown Tacoma?
It’s going to stay that way for now, a representative of the Seattle company said Tuesday.
“We don’t have any concrete plan for this property yet,” said Han Kim, a partner at Hotel Concepts. “We will be running it as a parking lot for the time being.”
The property sits across Commerce Street from Old City Hall, and south of the Elks Lodge, which eventually could become a McMenamins hotel, brewery and performance space.
Hotel Concepts owns more than a dozen hotel properties in the Northwest.
